Martin Urban

My name is Martin Urban and I have been living with Parkinson’s disease for approximately seven years.

Since June 2025, I have been undergoing treatment with a subcutaneous Duodopa pump, which helps me manage everyday functioning and remain active.

I work as a sales representative in a wholesale company specializing in water, heating, and gas. I am a partner and a father to a daughter who is a great motivation for me not to give up.

In my free time, I enjoy going out into nature, especially mushroom picking, and I try to stay active through sports.

Despite the illness, I strive to live a normal life and do things that fulfill me.

Parkinson’s may have changed my life, but it has not taken away my desire to live it to the fullest.
